The trip to Cliffs of Maro.

During this guided tour you will discover the stunning Cliffs of Maro natural park, tropical plantations unique in Europe and paradisiacal beaches just few people know.

We will pick you up in Malaga city center with our confortable van and we will depart to Maro crossing the Axaquía valley (45 min.). We will pak the van in the middle of tropical plantations and we will start the guided walk.

The hike. Guided hike through Maro natural park.

We will start the hiking tour (always with a guide) until a secret beach that just few locals know. Walking throught hidden paths, we will discover tropical crops of avocados, bananas, papayas, sugar cain and custard apples. We will walk until the Natural Park and we will visit a vigil tower built in the XVI century. From there, we have stunning views to the cliffs and to the mediterranean sea. It is time to rest a little bit and take some pictures.

From there we will descend to the beach crossing the cliffs during a breathtaking walk. On the way to the beach, we will discover the wild life and vegetation of the natural park.

In the way to the beach we will cross some STEEP AND IRREGULAR AREAS so you should be used to hike in this type of areas and have an ACCEPTABLE PHYSICAL CONDITION.

When arriving to the beach, we will go for a swim in the crystalline waters of the natural park and we will snorkel in order to explore the sea life. After enjoying in the sea; we will sit down on the white sand and we will relax having some fruit and water.

The way back from Maro.

After relaxing in the beach we will start the guided hike again. In the way back, we will cross again the cliffs until and the plantations. Once we finish the hike, we will go back to Malaga city center from Maro and we finish the tour.

There is an option to be dropped off in Nerja if the traveler wants to visit this vacational city with some spots of interest. It is connected with Malaga city by bus.
