Alfonso was a great host, the Torcal is a beautiful place with a breathtaking view at the end. It's more a ballad than a hike. I would expect a longer experience for the price.

Absolutely stunning rock formations and scenery. I felt like I was on another planet! Alfonso was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. I would definitely take another tour with him!

I would really recommend this hike. It is an absolutely wonderful place and Alfonzo was the perfect guide, didn't go too fast, gave a lot of information, (but not so much that you felt that you were overwhelmed). He provided all the things he advertised, picked us up promptly and we traveled in in a very comfortable van. It was an experience that was well worth it!

The tour was fantastic and well-organised. Alfonso is a very friendly and funny guide/geographer who knows the ins and outs (e.g. locations of fossils, vulture nests) of El Torcal de Antequera. The tour was semi-private (we had 6 people) which meant that we got to befriend everyone in the tour. The hike was not tiring despite rocky terrains. Definitely worth going for the breathtaking and unique scenary!

Fantastic experience, Alfonso was a great host! If you’re young and fit, the hike is no problem. The beach was very nice. We had a fun group, would definitely do it again.

This trip was really special. We got to see a part of Malága we couldn’t have found on our own. From pick up, to the snacks and the care and instructions he gives on difficult terrain it was a brilliant experience! The beach we went snorkelling on was magic and super picturesque. Nous avons passée une agréable matinée randonnée au bord de la mer. Nous sommes arrivés sur une belle plage où nous avons pu nous baigner et pratiquer du snorkelling. Cette activité à été très sympathique. Alfonso est dans l'échange, attentif... c'était un bon moment.

Really enjoyed this trip and would recommend it! Great length of hiking time and good that it’s in the morning before it gets too hot! Loved the secret beach that just had our group on it and the snorkelling head gear for us to help ourselves to. Nice time to relax too on the beach.. also interesting to see all the fruit plants and trees and even got to pick and eat a pomegranate on the way back! Alfonso is a friendly host and you get the option to be dropped back in Malaga or in Nerja in the afternoon .. I opted for Nerja which I would fully recommend for the beautiful square, beach and views :-)

This experience was wonderful! I got to go on a hike in a country I had never been to, which ended at a beautiful, secluded beach. Once arriving our group was able to swim for a couple of hours and relax after the hard work of the hike. Alfonso was a very pleasant and knowledgeable host! Our group met him at the pick up location and drove to the start of the hike (very mindful driver), where he gave us the low down on what to expect to see and how difficult the hike would be(if you are not mildly good hiker or have balance issues this may not be the experience for you). The area is beautiful and Alfonso knows a lot about the plantations, the area, hiking in general. I would totally recommend this, because you won't get to see this stunning beach otherwise! Thanks again!!

Alfonso was a wonderful host and guide! We went to a secluded place that was unique and very beautiful. There were no other hikers on the path and only our group enjoyed the beautiful beach. A great way to get out of the city and away from the tourists and connect with the natural environment. There is no way we could have found this on our own. We are very happy with this experience.

10/10 you want to do this experience. The location Alfonso took us to was nothing short of breath taking. The hike was not to hard and the pay off was a beautiful beach that the group had to ourselves. Alfonso was a great host, funny and very knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommend this trip, you’ll leave with a great experience and no regrets.

Alfo est un guide très serviable, à l’écoute, et très grand pour un espagnol :) Nous avons randonné sur un sentier peu connu, avec une vue surprenante. Sur lequel s’ajoute une crique secrète paradisiaque, nager avec des poissons en faisant snorkeling. Une journée exceptionnelle !

He’s full of laughter and joy. 100% recommend anyone who comes to Málaga to go on this hike with him. The snorkelling experience blew my mind. It was the cherry on top of the cake for this trip.

A great experience with Alfonso going away from Malaga to a paradise beach! Alfonso told us everything about the plantation, avocado trees,fig and many other fruit trees. Great to walk around and feel the place; Even better to swim in the sea and see the fish swimming around me! Would defenitely recommand this tour!

Highly recommended this magical experience. Alfonso was funny, entertaining, kind and sweet. A very likeable person. The hike was great and the hidden beach was breathtaking. I am so grateful for this experience. Also, remember to bring shoes with strong grip on them! I kept slipping and Alfonso graciously held my hand during the tough parts of the hike so I wouldn't fall!

Really recommend this trip. Was beautiful, even on a ‘not so hot’ day. For us the terrain was absolutely fine, we are used to really big mountain walks so this was a breeze. We took lots of breaks along the way too. Just listen to Alfonso and you will be fine! We also had a lovely snorkel and saw lots of fish(es)!

Enjoyed the hike immensely. A nice break from the city life. Cannot say much about snorkeling, as it was too cold and windy but the host quickly adapted and took us instead to visit an absolutely marvelous mountain village. Alfonso is certainly a right guy for the job. Experienced but not yet bored. Prime time. Definitely recommended for city dwellers.

Amazing experience with absolutely breathtaking views. Alfonso was super knowledgeable about the area and a really great host. If you’re looking for something special whilst in Malaga this is it.

I enjoyed this trip very much, it was very beautiful and fun. The only thing is that the hike was very difficult for me during the steep climbs and declines. You have to wear shoes that will not slip in the rubble, and long pants to protect from sharp branches. The views were magnificent and Alfonso did a great job at guiding us through the area. He was also very helpful during the hike too, making sure everyone was safe. The beach was beautiful but the water was too rough to go in, so we didnt get to experience the snorkling.

Totally worth it daytime trip! I have dreamed of going such place for a long time and now I had opportunity to that with an excellent guide ! Thx alot Alfonso

Alfonso was a great guide. Communication was straight forward and everything from pick up to drop off was seamless. Alfonso is super knowledgable, and introduced and showed us all the different fruits and veggies that grow in the area. If you have any questions about Malaga or things to see around in the area Alfonso has many recommendations and suggestions. The beach spot was just magical, the water is so clear and feels so refreshing after getting sweaty from hiking. We could have stayed all day. I can definitely recommend this experience if you love a fun hike with amazing views and discovering a more remote beach. :)

What a great way to spend the day! So glad I chose to do this experience. From start to finish I could not fault it. Alfonso makes you feel at ease and makes an effort to chat with and include everyone so this created a nice vibe between us all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this experience to others. Thank you Alfonso for making our day so enjoyable. We met at a very convenient place near the station and from then on our host, Alfonso took great care of us. The drive out to Torcal wasn’t too far, across spectacular scenery towards the mountain. Alfonso is very friendly and knowledgable and made the journey seem shorter than it was. Torcal itself is quite spectacular and it seemed that few foreign tourists experience the beautiful park. I’m 54 and like to walk but I would recommend this to most people. The path is rugged but we went at an easy pace, stopping to view the scenery or listening to Alfonso imparting some information about the flora and fauna. The trek’s climax ends up on a rocky plateau with ancient fossil markings and a spectacular views. Although not guaranteed we did spot a mountain goat and vulture on our trek! All in all the excursion was great value for money. Comfortable transport, friendly and knowledgable guide and an amazing destination.

I think, visiting Torcal on your own it's not that easy - one has to know where to go. But it's definitely worth doing it as the views are stunning. On top, having Alfonso as a guide is something special - not only he shows some spots off the main paths, shares his knowledge but also he manages to create a very positive dynamics in the group. a super enjoyable experience!

Alfonso picked us up at the meeting point, he was on time and very personable. He lead us on a hike that would be impossible to do without prior knowledge and experience in the area. We appreciated his consideration for all the participants, he needed to give information in both Spanish and English and we were of varied ages so he paced it well. It was an amazing area to hike, great vistas, great photo opportunities and lots of interesting things to see—- fossils, flora, fauna and of course the unusual geography of the area. He was super knowledgeable and answered all our questions and more. Make sure you wear good shoes—- runners or hikers, it’s very uneven terrain. Definitely worth it, check it out!!!

Alfonso has a great understanding of the Torcal, Antequera Park. He was knowledgeable of the geography, vegetation and animals found in the Andalucia region of Spain. I learned so much and found him to be an entertaining and fun guide. This hike was one of our highlights of our trip to Spain!

This is a hike through a unique landscape. Alfonso was a very knowledgeable guide who paced the hike to suit all of us participants. I would thoroughly recommend this hike.

Das war ein super Ausflug!!!! Sehr interessant und für jeden etwas dabei: Für Wanderexperten, Fotofreunde, entspannte Spaziergänger. Antonio hat mit viel Humor viele spannende Details über El Torcal, aber auch sein Leben erzählt und dadurch war der Ausflug sehr interessant. Ich würde mit Alfonso wieder wandern gehen :-)

i really enjoyed the activity, very interesting sight of view and good place to refresh the mind. peaceful and dramatic than i thought. the whole thing with people were also very nice and comfortable.

This was an awesome experience! So much fun and the snacks at the end were fantastic (more than just your usual cereal bar)! Would highly recommend but make sure you’re ready for a LONG walk!

Vi hade en riktigt skön eftermiddag och kväll. Vacker natur, lagom vandring med några branta partier. Det var skönt att svalka av sig i flodbäddarna. Vi blev bjudna på god ost och korv från regionen. Alfonso är en mycket kunnig guide som har mycket kunskaper om regionen. Allt som allt en mycket trevlig tur som vi varmt kan rekommendera.

Samen met mijn dochter van 16 deelgenomen aan deze wandeling. Alfonso is een leuke, gezellige gids met goede kennis van het gebied. Zijn Engels is prima en hij heeft goed contact met veel mensen in het witte dorpje waar je start en eindigt. De wandeling vond ik heel goed te doen, ook met een temperatuur van circa 28 graden. En aangekomen bij de rivier kun je een heerlijk verkoelend bad nemen. Dus neem vooral zwemkleding mee. In het dorp en ook halverwege de wandeling kun je je Dopper/waterfles (bij)vullen. Bij een volgend bezoek ga ik zeker weer een andere route bij Alfonso boeken: aanrader dus!

This was absolutely worth it! We are so glad that we went on this experience. Alfonso took us through one of the white villages where people actually live.

I recommend the trip. Alfonso is a very friendly and helpful person. He prepared a nice picknick with Spanish food and shared his knowledge about everything we have seen.

Our hike with Alfonso was perhaps our favorite part of our trip to Spain! Myself, my husband, and my two daughters (ages 12 and 15) enjoyed every part of the hike. We loved walking through the quaint little village, hiking through the olive groves and marveling at the Arab canals, seeing many wild goats, looking down the steep cliffs, and swimming in the beautiful waterfalls and pools. Alfonso also supplied a delicious snack. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as the plants and animals along the path. I would definitely recommend this experience to anybody!

Wow, we had such a good day with Alfonso. We were 7 girls and he was a real gentlemen and took good care of us plus made us laugh a lot We had an apero that he prepared for us in the shadows before finishing the hike, and a glass of cava to celebrate that we did it! I recommend completely the experience! Thank you Alfonso!!!!

It was great to be guided by Alphonso in this experience. He has geography knowledge, he knows historical and local events related to the place and he presents them in a familiar and friendly manner. He is open and talkative and made me feel welcome in Caminito del Rey.

Fantastisk oplevelse. En uforglemmelig tur. Alfonso har blik for den enkelte gæst, og han er meget hjælpsom. Uddelte vand ved starten af turen, og havde bananer, brød, ost og pølse med. Stod i kø på holdets vegne, både ved indgangen og ved shuttlebussen. Lækker og komfortabel VW Van.

We loved this trip so much. Definitely recommend to book. Private tour with friendly atmosphere. Chorizo and cheese are the super bonus in the end of Caminito del Ray ;-)
