I had a fantastic time hiking through a gorgeous natural area and snorkeling in an absolutely stunning cove with a great fun group of international folks. Normally, I don’t like organized guided outings but this one was a lovely surprise. Alfonso, our guide, made us all feel welcome, safe and capable. I really appreciated that he provided water, a snack, and snorkel masks so we could all just focus on enjoying the excursion. There were several times where I needed a hand — literally — and Alfonso was there to make sure I felt comfortable and less fearful about slipping. He is very charming and kind and has a great sense of humor and he definitely is knowledgeable about the geography, the history and the wildlife of the area. We had a nice chat about my previous life during la movida madrileña and then some fun trying out yoga poses on the beach with Stephanie and Shaimaa, two other women in our group. Alfonso made sure to look after everyone in our group and keep us all happily on the trail. After we got back to Malaga Alfonso sent us some “action” photos of us on the trail...which I really appreciated because I was too busy chatting and taking photos of the scenery and I didn’t take any photos of us actually walking the trail. Now I have Alfonso’s photos so I can “prove” to myself (and my kids) that I actually did this. LOL I’m already signed up for Alfonso’s hike in Saltillo Gorge and I’m sure it’ll be as nice as this excursion.

Amazing hike, great guide with lots of knowledge on the surroundings. The landscape is gorgeous and the beach is the best I've seen so far in Spain. Must do in Malaga.

Venturing out into Nerja with Alfonso was the best part of my week in Málaga. As a solo traveler, it is super important to have a sense of friendship and support along our journeys; not only did I bond with other people in our group during our drive to Nerja and hike, but I came away from the experience realizing that despite our varied levels of “ability” (take this from the slowest-moving one in the group #ThanksAsthma), we each brought something to and participated in our nature hike with appreciation for each other and the scenery around us. Note to seasoned & little bb trekkers like me alike: take the water he gives you, create a (Hidden by Airbnb) group with your participants to share pictures, ask Alfonso questions about all the plants you see (this is his speciality, don’t let that information go to waste), and don’t be afraid to take a minute to admit that you can’t fly up and down mountains with incredible ease haha Alfonso WILL let you rest. I’m so happy to have met such an incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, motivated, and inspiring person during my month abroad. As a solo traveller, I was really looking forward to participating this tour and I absolutely loved it! Was happy with the people in the same group and it become the highlight of my trip. Alfonso is very friendly and knowledgeable the hidden beach we got to after the hike was beautiful!

This was really special. Just be prepared- the hike is intense. AMAZING, but intense. But do not be worried. Alfonso is there to help at every step of the way and held my friends hand the whole time because she kept on falling. The hike is beyond beautiful and you end is this secluded spot where you swim in the bluest clearest part of the Mediterranean. Alfonso is sooo funny and he forms an instant connection with you. He is super patient and really has a passion for the beautiful nature of Spain. He is not touristy in the best way possible and really gives a unique taste of Spanish culture. I would definitely recommend 5 starts!!

Amazing experience! The walk is not too long and you’re met with incredible views. The beach was honestly a private beach and the water was beautifully clear! Fantastic day!

This was one of the highlights of my visit to Malaga! :) It was just amazing! So, leave everything to Alfonoso and enjoy the adventure. You get to see different things, learn new stuff and enjoy an absolutely stunning beach. We all wished it could last longer :)))

The experience was wonderful where we got to explore Malaga in a natural way. Alfonso was so knowledgeable telling us the different rocks formation, everything about the nature along the way. We enjoyed it so much! Highly recommended to join.

It was a really great experience visiting El Torcal de Antequera! Our host, Alfonso, was very knowledgable about the site and was very friendly. He was also very helpful in providing us tips on where to visit in the city! Would definitely recommend joining this experience as something different other than just the city life/ beaches in Malaga! :)

Alfonso is an expert and organised person very friendly and my experience in Torcal of Antequera was more than I was expecting, the landscape is amazing over there, I really loved that, it felt like to being in another planet! :)

It was a really good tour! Not hard, the view is amazing, and in the end there is a chance to cool down in some small lakes. During the tour Alfonso was really kind, he said some interesting things about the place, the plants and he also offered some food :D I think it’s a cool program!

This hiking experience was great, the little secret ponds were lovely. Alfonso was an amazing host with great knowledge about the surroundings and nature. Would highly recommend going in this excursion!

Wanneer je in Malaga bent, moet je dit zeker bij Alfonso boeken. Alles is geregeld (vervoer, water en lunch) en hij vertelt vol passie over alles wat we tegenkomen. Geweldig!

Alfonso is a really enthusiastic guide with a lot of knowledge and passion. A great commincator and shows interest in the whole group he leads. I very much recommend him if U want to experience Caminito de Rey.

We had a nice tour, Alfonso was extremely friendly and the places are amazing ! Even though the paths are easy and the whole experience is not a long one in terms of distance walked, don't overestimate your fitness level.

We went to the Caminito del Rey with Alfonso. It was an AMAZING experience. If you are thinking about it, but you aren't sure... I think you should do it. We have a healthy concern about heights and we were fine. There is something to hold on to the whole way. Alfonso is very knowledgeable about the geology and history of the area. He even shares restaurant recommendations! He is a wonderful host and we highly recommend this experience. There might be nothing in the world like it!
