Those rock-walls and the environment are just breathtaking. Alfonso is really friendly and funny guy, he took us to the place at a time when almost nobody was there so we could get a unique and more personal experience. It was a great experience, very recommended.

Great trip that you should definitely do while in Málaga! Alfonso is clearly very knowledgeable about everything pertaining to the outdoors from plants to fun facts about the hiking area! He has a nice picnic for a rest, even though the hike itself is not strenuous in the slightest. Was a nice walk the entire time. Book this!

Anyone staying in or near Malaga should seriously consider this trip! It was absolutely fantastic but not for the faint hearted. Anyone afraid of heights or perhaps that is claustrophobic most definitely wouldn't enjoy this as much. Alfonso was a great tour guide that made the hike light hearted and fun! He could relate to anyone in the group, young or old, and made it an all around amazing time!

Afonso brought us to a very special gorge via an authentic village on the mountaintops. The views were insane, especially on our way back as evening was slowly crawling over the mountains. The cherry on the top were the montain springs we swam in and drank from - the water was crystal clear! Especially on a hot day, that's such a boon. The snack was perfect, as well as Alfonso's engagement throught the trip. He did always make sure the group is secure and even dived for our bottlecap when it decided to escape us. We could have done it, but he raced me to get it first with unmatched hospitality. He even shared the pictures he took, as well as suggestions where to go to in Malaga for food, drinks and fun. Muchos gracias Alfonso! :)

The tour was a really great mixture! Hiking, a beautiful old village, locals, mountains, animals and a swim in the natural pools of the waterfall. My sister and I really loved the trip and we would defintely recommend it to anyone. Next time in Malaga we will come for sure again. Thank You Alfonso :)

Alphonso has a great knowledge base and shares willingly. He looks after each of his guests and is ever handy to assist over difficult hiking parts. Loved getting out into the country and learning about the agriculture and local practices.

My husband and I enjoyed a great hike with Alfonso in the National Park about an hour's drive from Malaga. Alfonso is a great guide who has knowledge and appreciation of the landscape , its geography and history. It's not a trail you would easily find without a guide. Beginning in one of the quieter White Villages we wound our way up through the hills following the trail of the ancient irrigation canals. Alfonso has a great sense of humour and quickly established a comfortable rapport with the group ( there were 8 of us). It's not a stroll but it's very manageable if you have a reasonable level of fitness and it's well worth the effort. It was a great contrast to the buzz and business of the city and and insight into the lives of small farmers in the locality. We'd have no hesitation in recommending it.

My wife and I were looking for a hiking experience with some local info and spectacular views, we got all that and more on this trip. We met in Malaga center and Alfonso drove us all up to the beginning of the hiking trail by a local village. The hike itself was amazing taking us along a route with very little foot traffic from anyone else but our group, while we went Alfonso told us many stories and pointed out local landmarks and plant life, there were so many spots to take breathtaking photos. As a group we all got to know each other a bit as well which was lovely, we stopped for a picnic, which Alfonso provided, and a few of us took a dip in the water by a waterfall. This was followed by hiking back down the trail while the sun set, amazing day and we are so glad we did it.

Beautiful scenery I wouldn't have found on my own, hiking together with a small group and keeping things simple made this an experience I am really happy I decided to join! Also, the van is comfortable, the instructions are clear and easy to follow and Alfonso is a friendly, easygoing guide with a deep knowledge about the area.. all in all making this a great day!

We were lucky to do 2 tours with Alfonso - this one and el torcal. Both were stunning views and incredibly different walks. Alfonso was friendly led the walk at a pace comfortable for the group and pointed out any interesting facts. The highlight of the Saltillo gorge walk was the picnic by the waterfall and sunset on the walk back.

A lovely trek into the local wilderness through a small village. It was a fun, long hike that spanned interesting locations, and ended with a lovely picnic. Definitely recommended, as the experience felt personal, quiet, and intimate.

Very nice tour through the raw landscape! Alfonso was a great storyteller about the culture and environment. Had a great knowledge because of his background as a geography expert :) Would do again, and also the route is a slightly daring, so a decent psychical shape is adviced!

In general I do not especially like to hike in groups, but this trip was the exception on this rule. Nice, and the higher we went, spectacular views. Good rhytm of walking with time for foto's.

This was a beautiful hike to a stunning location. A great place to have lunch, and I felt Alfonso really prepared us by having water and snacks. I loved hearing a little bit more about the local culture, as well as getting to learn a lot about local flora and fauna. The herbs all smelled delicious that were growing along the path. Oh and we got to see the mountain goats!

Nice easy hike with a lot of interesting conversation, the white village was very charming, Alfonso shared interesting stories and tips about the area. It was a great day!

A long hike in the beautiful mountains. Alfonso knows the mountain, the people, and the background of the area. He has a good sense of humor and made the journey very enjoyable.

This hike will give you different experiences: first the ride from Malaga to a typical white village, then a nice walk through this lovely village with narrow streets filled with beautiful plants and flowers. Finally the hike up in the mountains- very exciting- all the way Alfonso shares his knowledge about the place and the nature.

I had a great day with Alfonso and the rest of the group. Really nice and quiet village with a lot of flowers and plants and friendly people. The hiking is suitable for everyone, the sunset was gorgeous! We haven't done the swimming part, because it was January, but in summer would be really nice to get in this natural "jacuzzis". Oh, and we saw lots of wild goats on the way.Thank you Alfonso for the pleasant time together :)

This was my first time doing an AirBnb experience and I’m hooked! Alfonso put together a great adventure, the sights were beautiful, and the day was Awesome!! Word of warning to folks: there are parts of the path that are close to the edge with little protection from falling - Alfonso was great ensuring everyone was safe and helping us one by one over the trickiest parts but be sure to heed the warnings as this walk is not for folks with a fear of heights or vertigo.

Had a great time with Alfonso. The walk took in some beautiful scenery and we never felt hurried. The pace was leisurely and the terrain easy going. Alfonso was a genial host, very personable and knowledgeable about the local area and customs. We had a great afternoon in his company.

Great experience! I really enjoyed the hike and we also saw mountain goats, gryphon vultures, and many types of plants. Alfonso is very knowledgeble and he provided interesting explanations regarding the geological formations, and also shared with us more about Spanish society and industry. The hike was at a very comfortable pace and Alfonso was very hospitable.

I usually don't do guided hikes, but this was better than I expected. Alfonso pointed out interesting areas I probably wouldn't have notice if I didn't have a guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny. Had a great time.

It was a great pleasure to join this trip! It was like an adventure hike with group of the friends more than which I appreciated ;) we decided to make a hike even though tough weather conditions with incredible strong wind trying to blow us off the cliff! Alfonso was knowledgeable giving us insights to this region and through his jokes he distracted us a lot from feeling cold ;) I strongly recommend to do it! Mountains are amazing beautiful and 3h route provides active relaxation ;) perfect!

The weather was harsh and the trip was great! I wouldn't want it any other way! You could joke with Alfonso and tease him a bit and he repaid with the same. For that exceptional cold weather he gave us some options and made sure all of us are happy. You must meet him and see Torcal of Antequera with him!

With his background as a geologist, Alfonso could tell us a lot about the natural phenomena and unique rock formations in the beautiful Torcal de Antequera national park, information that gave this trip an extra valuable dimension. Alfonso's a good guide, who made sure everybody in his group felt comfortable; he lended a hand where needed, offered personal stories, and was interested in ours.

Als je iets leuks wilt doen in omgeving Malaga dan is dit zeker een aanrader. Alfonso is een leuke sympathieke man die veel weet van de historie en het gebied. Het was een leuke wandeling door een prachtig UNESCO gebied, het was wel koud toen we daar waren dus zorg voor gepaste kleding. Kortom, een dikke aanrader!

소규모의 인원으로 안전하고 즐겁게 안달루시아의 광대한 자연을 만끽할 수 있는 체험이었습니다. 진짜 로컬사람들만이 아는 그리고 즐기고 있는 멋진 곳을 다녀왔습니다. 야생동물도 많이 볼수 있었구요 계곡이랑 오솔길을 따라 걷는 하이킹도 즐거웠습니다. 다른 대중 교통수단으로는 갈수없는 곳이었고 개별적으로도 경험할 수없는 특별한 루트였습니다. 말라가에 오셨으면 도시만 볼게 아니라 이런 특별한 체험을 한번 해보시길 권해드립니다.

It was a really unique experience for me. El Torcal is truly wonderful place with many breathtaking views. Alfonso is very experienced and knows a lot about this area. I would highly recommend this tour for everyone who loves beeing outdoors!
